Last Wilderness 5K Run (or Walk) and Kids 1k Fun Run

We welcome runners, joggers, walkers, strollers, and leashed dogs. Again this year is a free Kids Bobber Run Around the Pond for kids 12 & under. 5K registrants (walkers and runners) get a nice performance tech shirt, and those in youth run will get a cotton t-shirt.
The route runs along our historic rearing ponds, and through pine, hardwood, and river-lined backroads. All roads are paved or hard crushed gravel.

Meet at Pipke Park with parking at the American Legion (about 1/8 mile walk to the building from parking). There are bathrooms and places (unsecured) to leave your belongings during the run.
The run is followed by an ALL-DAY COUNTRY FAIR along Main Street:
- turtle/frog races,
- live music,
- vendors and delicious foods,
- ice-cream eating contest,
- cupcake walk, and much more!
Proceeds support the Presque Isle Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit dedicated to greater economic sustainability for our little, lovely, tourism-centric town. We thank you for your support.
